As someone voting abroad.

Do you know how fucking hard it is to maintain my status already.

Fuck these clowns.

(Granted, they don't give a shit about my vote because I'm in an extremely safe democratic state)

It's really annoying. It's difficult to initially register addresses that are abroad. You need to update voter information well in advance to ensure you get a ballot on time and if you fail to return a ballot you're often kicked off the rolls.

They are much more aggressive about removing folks for unreturned mail ballots than failing to show up at a polling place.
