@nixCraft As a teenager I always wanted a Linux system because there where some UI frameworks which allowed windows to get an "burn" effect if closed.

This just looked awesome to me back than.

@nixCraft I first used it years ago with a Knoppix live CD and it was very cool. Later, Nova Launcher on Android offered the same experience.

@nixCraft Cube by compiz. Not only old one users, because it is still very much present and available in lots of distributions. Even KDE actually has it, but in a little different form. As same as another very popular feature - "wobbly windows" effects.
