Guild Wars 2

Seems like too much work to me, so I started getting duplicate pieces just to save the hassle, but a few guildies said I was crazy.

The first time I saw the original trailer for Guild Wars 2, I knew I had to play the game, but I also knew that I had to get the soundtrack as well. One of the best things about the original GW2 is its soundtrack and Jeremy Soule overdid himself, once again....

I thought I'd try GW2 after years of not playing (last I played was PoE era, bounced off fully before Icebrood saga) and finally managed to get into it!...

Just stumbled across this in my travels....

Hello there, GW2 players!...

This update feels a bit smaller than I expected, but it's been fun for me. Don't know how long I'll keep playing before moving to other games again though.

I'm curious how long it would take a NEW player to beat the core game? If they had access to the wiki and when needed YouTube but didn't have someone standing next to them telling them what to do. In other words they try the jumping puzzle or what ever they were trying to do a few times and if they failed, then go look it up....

Shouldn't have ignored everything the last three months. I had 500 hero's chest to open. Fucking hell even a slog with a mouse script.

I own 2 copies of the game (1 via Steam and 1 via the standalone Launcher)....

First boss gets stuck in its invuln-AoE-phase. Resetting fractal, entirely leaving the lobby, nothing has reset it.

Couple of bug fixes and some LFG polish, but over 300MB. Huh....

We are temporarily disabling gliding in WvW due to a crash issue and will re-enable it once the issue is resolved. Gliding is only disabled in WvW, other game modes are not affected....

Many events have a bit of a grace period once the last item is being given to the NPC, so others can get rid of their items and get participation. Many events also have a timer, so if you hand in the last item 15 seconds before the event ends and the NPC gives it another 60 seconds of grace period, the event fails....

I’m trying to get back into GW2, in large part because it’s one of the few MMOs I’ve liked that actually works well under Linux....

If you do not own the deluxe upgrades for HoT and/or PoF and were thinking about getting extra character slots anyway, you can get the slot plus other bonuses for 40 gems less than just the discounted character slot alone right now....

Probably save to assume that they will keep selling half a season of Living World once a year for an almost full full box price, but I’ll wait until something is actually released. Maybe it’ll be more than 85% cannibalized and recycled mechanics and art assets.
