There has been an ongoing sit in protest at Columbia University against the institution's financial ties to the genocide in palestine for the last 6 days. Authorities have broken up the protest several times. Including arrest everyone involved, and suspending all organizers from the university (destroying their possessions, arrests for trespassing now that theyre not a student, etc) The protest is still going on, but the only article I could find talking about it: got edited to be about fucking passover?? at literally 7 hours ago before this monday morning in the middle of the damned night.

It's ... bizarre. never in my life have I seen such a concerted effort on such a scale as is being placed in support of israel in the united states in the most heavy handed ways imaginable. This is their update page, for a pro-palestinian protest. Theres 2 lines from protestors in the article, who both were pretty clearly picked to quote because they have very arab sounding names, and the rest of it is just garbage. and its every where, every day., this example is literally just like the fourth thing I saw this out of bed ..What is this ????
