how do you respond to someone asking how you are? especially during a bad flare?
like, even friends who do have an idea of how sick we are normally arent really gonna get how bad things are in a flare. how can we explain that we are so sick we are struggling to make it to the bathroom in time. that standing up and doing more than 1 task in a row leaves us out of breath, heart pounding, and scared we are gonna make ourself sicker. or that we are terrified that this isnt just a flare but a permanent worsening of our illness. i dunno. its so hard to communicate our experiences to people who are largely physically abled.
