The adaptation was good but I think what super sold it for me was the music. Yasunori Mitsuda's works just hit different. #DungeonMeshi#DeliciousinDungeon

The anime's releasing in Jan with Yasunori Mitsuda music but I recommend reading the manga anyway -- it's a great D&D campaign at its base plot with great character growth and humour, of course.
Don't let the cartoony style put you off -- the world building is vast and the lore is deep. It's a really good manga.
