Xiaomi’s SU7: A Bold Leap into the Electric Vehicle Landscape ( www.infoterkiniviral.com )

Imagine the Speed Ultra 7 (SU7) as more than just a sleek electric vehicle—it’s like a stylish companion that glides through the city streets with grace. Picture it zipping past, its aerodynamic lines catching the sunlight, leaving a trail of curiosity in its wake.

Looks fast standing still, as the saying goes.

A couple months in and I'm still really happy with the BYD Seal. The switch to electric has turned out to be really easy. This has probably been helped by choosing an EV that is, from a driver's perspective, very conventional (A separate driver's instruments display! Indicator stalks! Physical buttons!) but it is also reflective of the fact that electric cars are now mature tech, with more than enough range for most people's needs. In fact I think that for most people electric cars are already better overall. Better to ride in (quieter, roomier cabins) and better to drive (smooth, instant and abundant acceleration). The main issues are the still higher costs and access to home charging for renters and residents of units, but both of those are becoming less of a problem over time.

@electrek We’ve always liked the fact that even the bottom model line is a luxury car for a quiet ride and instant power. The comparison between riding in a high end and low end is basically — price.

In 1973 Seattle City Light modified an AMC Gremlin to be an electric vehicle prototype. The car was powered by 24 rechargeable six-volt batteries and could run for about 50 miles at highway speeds before needing to be recharged. SCL developed an "Electro Park" charging station for the vehicle, seen here in use by City Light Superintendent Gordon Vickery.
