Does this graphical game ring any bells for anyone?

a YouTube comment that reads: I'm trying to remember an Apple II RPG game. The game had decent real graphics. It had the usual "walk east/west" command line. The game had a demo mode that was very short. In the demo, you had to find a bowl. Fill up the bowl with slime from what appeared to be a pond. Throw the slime on a worm that was blocking your path in a cave. In the cave, there was an altar with whatever the end/item/goal was. As soon as you touched the altar, you died and that was the end of the demo. In the "campaign" mode, you walked through a mirror that transported you to some fantasy land. The mirror was one way. The mirror would close and release a scarab beetle amulet. The mirror was in a bedroom that was your save point if you died in the campaign mode. In the fantasy world, there was an old man fixing a boat. You had to give him a fish to eat. He gave you a manuscript which was your "story/hint" of what you were trying to achieve. I never beat the game, and I don't remember the name. Any ideas?
