By the way I agree. It is very likely just a fader or some simple tech. But if we give it a fancy name then ... 👌 That's why I loved the sentence to start heh.
@BashStKid@jmcrookston Also, I have to say if there is any ‘bleed’ from the audience onto any of the stage mics there could be some subtle eq-ing to minimise it.
@jmcrookston@BashStKid Very likely. There are plugins that work in real time for these situations. Can’t remember who makes them - Izotope? One of the processes in that suite of plugs can even do the Holy Grail of sound design/audio restoration: reverb removal.
@jmcrookston@BashStKid True. Processes that are now available in real time not very long ago would take all night to process offline. Incredible to think that kind of audio processing power is now available to us on a laptop.
@jmcrookston I can't imagine any rational reason for them to develop technology against my boo, she is absolutely perfect in all ways and has done nothing wrong, ever
Meanwhile the Saudis are like "we want to build a 2 kilometre wide 200 kilometre long line city in the middle of the desert KILL ANYONE WHO STANDS IN OUR WAY" and I don't even know what's going on any more.
