Overall Antarctic sea ice still remains on the lower side for this time of year, but there is a large range of spatial variability in the pattern of regional anomalies.
At some point I'll have to take a closer look at the data about sea ice, because my current understanding is limited to "more greenhouse gases = less ice".
Maybe that'll be a good project when I begin porting over my map rendering stuff to the new site, so word of warning, I might hit you up when I get to that. :)
