I’ll be real with you. I’m glad that most of my video game collection is digital.
At last count, I own around 7,000 games—and I spent 39 years building this library. I’ve been building it since I was a three-year-old boy.
All things considered, I did not spend that much amount of money acquiring this collection. Almost always, I got these games when people were almost giving them away. It’s been this way since my mom brought home an Atari 2600 from a garage sale.
But you know what? I’m glad that I only have a few hundred games on a book shelf. The rest of it exists in the cloud or on a hard drive.
@atomicpoet I tend to save them in case one of my gadgets gives up on me, so I can hopefully install them on my new media if it still could work and not lose data 😄💃
