I have a love and boredom relationship with . Either I find it one of the most beautiful and subtle genre of music ever existed, or I find it extremely boring lost in trills and uninspired aimless melodies.

There, I have discovered one of those I put on the master level with Bach and Vivaldi.

Many thanks for the highlight on this artist that I should explore:

I LOVE THIS PIECE!
Any other opus by Giuseppe Torelli you suggest me to listen to?

I have Elicia Silverstein's album, The Dreams & Fables I Fashion, which I love but haven't listen to in some time. I came across this beautiful performance of Passacaglia for solo violin (1676), by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber (1644-1706) and felt it worth sharing.

I guess?

Any out here on the fediverse? Would love to connect! Classical Twitter still seems mostly on Twitter.

I'm a Montréal-based amateur cellist & . I also play flute, voice, and dabbling in guitar, recorder, melodica, and others. Lots of and , trying to discover more .

I'm always looking for more gender-marginalised, and representation in classical music!
