It took many years and many professional bike fits for their extremely valuable tips to finally sink in. :blobfox0_0:

It took me following a hunch over several months to get to the general area where my saddle and handlebars should be for their tips to finally make sense and complete the picture in my mind. (My saddle was way too low for a long time because my first bike fitter was trying to work with my horrible technique early on, which caused me to tear a quad in one leg. :blobfoxscared: )

Kochani, mam do sprzedania orbitrek do użytku domowego, w bardzo dobrym stanie, mało używany. Niestety jestem zmuszona go sprzedać, ponieważ mój obecny stan zdrowia nie pozwala mi na jego używanie. relies on a doctor who is a member of his golf club to vouch for his health

After Trump escalated his longstanding attacks on Pres ’s & last fall, he released the 1st updated report on his own condition in >3 yrs.
The report had just 3 paragraphs w/o specific numbers, proclaimed that Trump was in “excellent health” & had “exceptional” cognitive ability, & did not disclose Trump’s weight.

There was an egg hunt, but there were so many people!

The major prize was a sports watch! 😭

My 10k run today, 2024-03-28. First time I did it in , City of , .

This was also the first time I discovered the new pedestrian-only road in Intramuros. I am so glad that some areas with autonomy from the LGU (Local Government Unit; city/town government) have the initiative to pedestrianise roads.

This is good for the people, their businesses (small businesses in particular), and the health of the people. It encourages people to walk or bike (if allowed), and there is also less pollution and accidents. The land price also increases, as the environment gets better, and the local community becomes more happier, lively, and successful.

We need more of this in the Philippines!

A “pedestrian-only road” is also known as “pedestrian zones”, “auto-free zones”, “car-free zones”, “pedestrian precincts”, “pedestrian malls”, and “pedestrian streets”. Meanwhile, the process of converting a road into a pedestrian-only road/street is called “pedestrianisation”.

Take caution resuming your fitness routine after COVID, RSV or influenza, experts say | CNN.com

No matter which virus you had, wait at least 5 to 7 days after recovering before packing your gym bag. You also should be able to do all of your daily activities without excessive fatigue.

“Your body, heart and lungs need to recover,” Turner said. “You don’t want to push it too early and then have complications.”

If you had Covid accompanied by heart- or lung-related symptoms such as chest pain or difficulty breathing, the American College of Cardiology recommends seeing your physician before resuming exercise. And if Covid caused you to develop myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart, the ACC guidelines say to abstain from exercising for 3 to 6 months.

@schamppu 's -inspired entitled is so cool.

I just started today, and even though the is only in closed beta, and the features are basic, the concept and mechanics are different from the other fitness gamification apps I've played/playing.

It did capture the feels of an and combined it with fitness.

Again, I'm just a newbie, only started today. I haven't thoroughly explored the game. I just walked.

You don't even need to run the app in the background, it will collect the steps your phone recorded the next time you open the game.

Features I'm waiting for (not sure if it's planned, again, I'm a new player):

  1. Sync with Google Fit or Health Connect. This way we can use the "steps" from our sports watch instead of the phone. I think it's also easier since the Dev doesn't have to add support for Product X and Service Z.

Health Connect is good for those who prefer privacy, as Health Connect stays in the unit (unless the user syncs it with Fit or other apps).

Google Fit is, well, cloud-based. (Then again, most sports watch users are using their brand's cloud-based service anyway, and are more likely sync'd to Fit. 😆)

  1. Guilds/clans. Because why not? Hehe.

  2. Quests/missions.

It might be possible to add quests wherein even if we're not moving (like those in work-from-home), we can do something. Nothing game changing, because again, you have to move move move!

Of course, the majority of the quests require moving.

  1. More races!

Elf
Half-elf
Dwarves
Vampires

I dunno, any race that no one can claim copyright is good. (I mean, we can't use kinder because that's DragonLance.) And each race has some pros and cons.

  1. Foes?

Say, during a game event, we have to, for example, collect 10,000 steps in a week to ensure we are ahead of an enemy chasing us? If we fail, there's a penalty.

And the story of the event moves forward depending on the total steps of everyone in a kingdom.

Anyway. I see great potential in this game.

Oh. I'm very curious about the game lore.

You might not be a professional athlete, but just like them, getting adequate and quality sleep can boost your performance.

Here are some essential sleep tips:
💤 Be consistent: Keep a regular sleep schedule
💤 Create a sleep-conducive environment – dark, quiet and cool
💤 Enjoy calming pre-sleep routines like reading and stretching
💤 Reduce your screen time before bed
💤 Avoid caffeine, alcohol and heavy meals before sleep

Who has tried out minimalist, or barefoot shoes? I bought a pair on the cheaper end of the spectrum just to see how they were, and so far I’m enjoying them!

I just took about a mile walk in them, the furthest ive walked in them, and to my surprise my feet don’t feel any more worn out than if I’d done it wearing my usual sneakers (which are padded running shoes).

We’ll see how the muscles of my legs feel later. ;)
