I rarely make it to Ocean Beach (it's too cold 350 days of the year) but on the days where it's warm with blue skies, it's wonderful.

Ok, some days I’m less annoyed at this city

This photo remains one of my fave photos that I shot, developed, scanned, and printed (both digitally as well as in the darkroom)

(Yashica Mat 124G, Portra 400, Bellini C-41 dev kit, scanned on Fuji Frontier SP3000)

Winter in SF (usually it’s grey and gloomy but today is a delightful blue skies day)

I'm not a film photography purist, I do use my digital camera for things like: event photography and bird photography. Nobody has the time or money to have thousands of shots of those things on film.

It helps, also, to have a digital camera you don't hate. Personally I never loved my Canon DSLRs in the past; but really enjoy my Nikons.

Here's a photo of a banana slug from Pacifica.

I always have a small film camera for a 'B roll', tho.

Tropical Mockingbird in Punda Curacao ©Debra Martz At first glance I thought this was a Northern Mockingbird, out of range. It looks almost the same with slight differences in the feathering and of course, their range. The yellow background is that of the government building in Willemstad, Punda Quarter, Curacao.
