Hello there! I’ve got !

  1. It’s a great morning this morning (so far). Not sure what I’ll do , but I feel energized.

  2. It’s been a great weekend. Got to see my sister and nieces yesterday and that was so much fun!

  3. Star Wars and baseball exist in this universe. I am grateful for both and all they’ve given me.

I got my garden cart back from the neighbors so I was able to move all of my mature compost and use it to mulch around my tomato plants. This used up all the compost that I currently have, so the remaining area will be mulched with a mixture of leaf mold and grass clippings over the course of the season as they become available. While I was doing that, spent some time with his beet crop, cultivating and weeding. 😀

A ten inch tall, light brown teddy bear in green overalls stands looking to the right of the camera. He is holding a beet in his right paw. There is a bunch of beets embroidered on the bib of his overalls. In his left paw is a garden rake which he is using to cultivate around his healthy beet crop. Garden soil with a good tilth, a row of lettuce and cabbage in background.

The removal of the tomatoes from the greenhouse benches gives us room to get the first planting of sweetcorn (Flagler) started. We put 5 seeds to a pot and 32 pots make a row. Once those are big enough and the weather warm enough they will get set out in to a row and another planting will be started. We try to have 2 weeks between plantings to extend the season. Last year we brought ~ 230 ears of corn to the table.

Overhead view of some 4 inch plastic pots with potting mix showing 5 corn seeds placed on top, ready to be pushed in and covered.
A ten inch tall, light brown teddy bear in green overalls sits looking directly at the camera. He is holding a beet in his right paw. There is a bunch of beets embroidered on the bib of his overalls. He sits looking over 32 - 4 inch pots that are 6 inches deep. They are filled with potting mix and each pot has 5 corn seeds set on top ready to be pushed in and covered. In background can be seen the walls of a greenhouse.

I just got emails that sure looked like official messages from my bank saying I'd added a Zelle recipient and sent him a bunch of money.

Of course I didn't click on any of the links; I just went to my bank's website and checked my accounts, and everything is fine. Also: The Zelle messages referenced an account ending in four digits which match none of my bank accounts.

So a warning that fake messages like this are circulating.

I

  1. Donned shorts and flip-flops for the first time this year. Croc ones and they were too uncomfortable. I popped in White Rose and they had a Nike pair. They are sooo comfy 😊

  2. Did a photo shoot at my friends studio. I brought costumes and hats for people to wear for my photo groups Funny Photos exhibition we are doing.

  3. Spent the rest of the day outside the pub with my friends in the sun.
