Why is it that some people get so agitated when you suggest that some other people can happily live without their own car?

I mean, sure, some places are extremely car-centric! But not all places where humans live are extremely car-centric, and some of the places that are extremely car-centric could be changed to offer more options to people who want to live without their own cars!

Why is this notion seen as a threat?

Some of my best friends have cars ;-) Not me, though, though I enjoy a rental or car sharing 2-3 times a year.

I guess it must be some weird reflex/cognitive dissonance about their 1t of metal/5-digit investment possibly not being that useful/impressive as they thought?

Ich habe auf meiner lokalen Facebook-Gruppe für gesagt, wo man lokal die -Impfung bekommen kann.

Warum habe ich das gemacht? 😩

Es hat sich eine wahnsinnige Menge Wut und Hass während der Pandemie angesammelt. Und das geht jetzt auch nicht wieder weg, und trägt zur Radikalisierung der Gesellschaft bei.
