Due to an unplanned sinkectomy today, I didn't have time to spend on fedia as I planned. Tomorrow, I will carve out some time to look through recent code commits to see if any would address the issues we're experiencing.
It turns out the way I set up file sharing between the front end web server and the app server created immense slowdowns on fedia. I consolidated some things (web server on app server now), which isn't a long term solution, but will work in the very short term....
Fedia has issues. Some of them I can fix, some of them I can't yet fix. The server's CPUs are maxed with caddy federation requests, probably among other issues....
In a bit over 24 hours, fedia,io has grown to nearly 700 users and growth seems to be accelerating. In addition to fixing the image issue, am going to have to work on scaling fedia.io across multiple servers, which is going to require some downtime soon. The very good news is that I have instructions on how to get this thing going without containers, which will make it loads easier to troubleshoot issues like images as well as scaling out.

kbin, as the developer pointed out to me today, is in early development, even though it works incredibly well. That means it'll be a bit tough to tell which things don't work because I hosed something up vs. not working because there is a bug or a feature is just not fully implemente.
