@GottaLaff This says more Americans voted for Trump, which isn't actually the case. He won the EC but lost the popular vote, and not by a small amount.

I wonder if he was just giving legitimacy to the EC? He said he’s not one of those who says Clinton won the election- which by popular vote she did but that’s not how you win… 🤷🏼♀️ I just wondered about it too and that’s all I could figure

Seth is the best. This books are a complete accounting of everything that happened. I remember months before J6 he was on to Ginny. Incredible that no one in law enforcement ever enlisted him. But then #DonTheCon was POTUS at the time.

Right from the beginning I claimed he didn't want to be President as it would interfere with his money grubbing ... all he wanted to do was stop Clinton from being President.

It's clear the FBI was intent on sabotaging Clinton's campaign and they would have done that even if the Stormy scandal had occurred.
The two things are, at most, tangentially connected by Trump's desperation.
Unfortunately, while the things that Trump did to win in 2016 are unethical and gross, being gross and unethical and running for President is not illegal.

Trump does not think the FBI is a danger to him; he knows the FBI can be manipulated as long as they’re constantly under threat by him. Which they are. And as the Post makes clear—if only impliedly, as it’s future events that’d reveal it—it was FBI fear of Trump, residual from 2016, which pushed back the January 6 and stolen documents cases so far they will not be heard pre-election.

I knew as soon as Trump skipped the Iowa debate that he wasn't running a serious campaign at that point.
He just lucked into a moment of madness from our media and electorate and was able to ride a wave of white resentment into our White House that no one expected to all our detriment sadly.
@GottaLaff I do miss Seth. Bought some of his books. But a while back it seemed like he was never going to leave Twitter, and the few tweets of his I bothered to look up showed him getting madder and madder.
