@croissant I wore a readimask last time, but i found it fogged up the instruments a bit. Guessing the seal didn't stay very well on my nose... had them masking too as a precaution AND made sure we were the first appointments of the day, so i still felt pretty safe and didn't get sick or anything. I think I'll try a different mask next time though. I agree that the aura makes it hard to get close so I think I'll try something with more give and flexibility like the vflex or something similar🤔
@croissant The ACI (Advanced Concepts Innovation) duckbill-style N95 is what I wore to my last appointment with the eye doctor. (I see an ophthalmologist, but those appointments include measuring for glasses and checking for signs of glaucoma.
I think he asked me to move the top of the respirator down slightly at one point, but my nose and mouth remained properly covered when I did that.
@croissant I have to wear a readimask. There is something they like to look at that they can’t get close enough with my aura. But my readimask I had no problems. Last year I refused to take off my aura but this year the readimask was perfect. Good luck!
