    @rodhilton unless the posts they made included personally identifying content, this may not be a GDPR violation. It's still a terrible thing to do though.

    @rodhilton is this a GDPR violation though? Upon deleting the account they anonymise all your contributions. Moreover, those answers aren't personal data, so I don't think they're treated the same.

    I think they're in the legal right here and everyone who ever posted on StackOverflow just got trapped by giving away their rights through Terms of Service :(
