@EU_Commission
The Ukrainians are bearing this burden because NATO was determined to force the conflict with Russia. The script was written by the West!
But since the war has long been lost, the EU should finally wake up and put peace in Europe above NATO geopolitics.
Anyone who really thinks Ukraine needs troops: THEN GO YOURSELF!
Otherwise shut up.
Idiots.
AND instead of negotiating with your closest neighbor (Russia), doing a true EUROPE, you play the game of a foreign and belligerent country on another continent knows for ~95% of the wars on this planet for the last 80years!
When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”
Matthew 8:23-27
@EU_Commission What happens in Ukraine is crucial to the future of our Union. The people of Ukraine have made a European choice and we stand with them. We remain united, strong, and ambitious when it comes to our support of Ukraine's sovereignty and our commitment to reform.
@EU_Commission How about getting of your asses and actually doing something about it instead of waxing lyrical on it on social media? If we had sent as much actual help as we've wasted words on sending it, we wouldn't be in the position we are right now. Putin is at war with Europe, that's what he sais. That's what his talk of restoring former glory really is about. No ammount talking ourselves out of it will change that. Apeacement doesn't. Not in the 1930ies, not now.
@EU_Commission Yeap now the "good european uncle" want to care about this poor country? Where you've been earlier in the time when all the shit happened there can be easily prevented from the escalation? Where are you been when Syria was attacked or many others?
Or perhaps now the "european uncle" want to put his hands on the ukrainian oil and gas sources, they still have on Azores and Black Seas? You are always nice and good, but unfortunately only on paper. The practice is slightly different.
@EU_Commission Meanwhile Europe still depends on china for like 80% of scarce guncotton supply. This post should have included an announcement for a new weapons factory or something.
Send Ukraine less blablabla and more industrial capacity to actually defend itself.
@EU_Commission so true and I hope, that we, in the EU & in its institutions, make reforms to strengthen freedom & democracy for all citizen in times of relative peace, as Ukraine does reforms against corruption in times of war. Sadly there is a sting lobbying against it & voter polls suggest a rise in right wing ideologies which won't fix EU's problems but worsen them. Citizens need trust in their governments & this will only happen with strong and consequential transparency which EU is lacking.
