Every death on our roads is a tragedy. Not just a number, but a reminder to do better. We choose to prevent. We re-design. We test. We secure. We warn. We enforce. We maintain. We train We use multiple layers of defence every day. But when someone dies of COVID-19, it's not a tragedy. It's just a number. COVID-19 is killing far more people than our roads. Yet our governments have chosen to ignore it. Relying on current vaccines alone is not enough. But we can prevent infections, by wearing well fitting respirators. By cleaning the air. By supporting people to test and isolate when sick. Because living with covid is not really living.
