I (@mdmrn) am reading a lot of weeklies, but also working my way through Fist of the North Star, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Golden Wind), and Sailor Moon.
I read The Gentle Noble's Vacation Recommendation last night, and it's super cute?? It's about how this really cunning noble man gets isekai'd to a world that's similar/parallel to his, and he starts to live as an adventurer. The series is full of BL ship tease, but it's all very adorable. It's mainly slice of life, but the main character Lizel is also somewhat of a yandere schemer.
The manga is really good, so I'm sad that the light novel hasn't been licensed for translation.
Hi Fediverse, here's a new #introduction :ablobcatheart:
I'm V. I hail from the DC area where I take care of many plants 🌱 and drink lots of bubble tea 🧋
Interest-wise, I'm into #anime, #manga, #lightnovels, #webtoons, #danmei, #books (mostly genre), #podcasts (mostly true crime & forteana-themed), and all things spooky really. I'm a casual #kpop fan except for when it comes to #gidle, then I'm an all-in Nevie :ablobcatattention:
A thing I like to say is that fandom is my fandom: I enjoy hanging around other fandom-minded people, even if we don't actually have any in common.
Other than that, I'm an occasional freelance #writer. The link in my bio has some of my work, if you're interested. :ablobcatcoffee:
#lightnovels#apothecarydiaries i initially compared jinshi to roy mustang and i think that still stands, but he’s actually more like howl from howl’s moving castle (book vers). its the “running so far away from your problems that you come full circle back to confronting them” of it all. also, being in love with a girl who looks at you with disgust for being a too-pretty waste of space
