I know I'll be busy in the next few days (with prayer that 2024 is kinder to me than 2023, in some respects), so I'll leave this here a bit earlier than usual <:
I still can't quite fit in the #Loki Season 2 with the rest of the recent #MCU#movies.
If I understood it correctly, Loki S02 should've happened before everything MCU multiverse, otherwise, there would only be one timeline.
The first time the multiverse was hinted as existing was in #DoctorStrange, right? Then #SpiderMan. This means Loki S02 happened before that, correct?
Because during the Infinity War, when they returned the stone to the past, they prevented a timeline branch. And when Captain America traveled back to his own time, it didn't create a new branch, he went back to the past of the sacred timeline, that's why he showed up as old later.
Ant-Man never touched on the multiverse. Rather, it was about the very tiny universe we do not see. They're still in the sacred timeline technically.
So, we basically can kiss goodbye to Kang, right? With the TVA now set to only go after Kang Variants, it kills all the plans they had for Jonathan Majors and they could instead establish a new villain.
God Of Stories Loki will play a huge part in Secret Wars.
Mobius has left, but I think he will eventually return to the TVA. He has to appear in Deadpool 3, unless these events take place before the TVA's reformation. #Loki
Everyone saying, "Kang isn't a threat." is also proven wrong. Loki was only able to defeat HWR by taking centuries to learn, giving up all his desires, leaving his friends behind, and create a new situation, in which HWR will never again rise to power - by sacrificing everything...For all time. Always (pun intended).
He basically became like the Greek Titan Atlas - only that THE ENTIRE MULTIVERSE depends on him weaving those threads of Time through Ygdrasil. #Loki
#Loki is the thing every Phase 4 #MCU movie has strived to, only to fail spectacularly. It's the single greatest project of this Phase and man, will that outcome have consequences. Woah, boy.
