Holy moly! It's a well-reviewed Marvel show! Reviewers of "X-Men 97" have rated the animated series 100 percent "Fresh." The Hollywood Reporter has summed up what critics from publications like CNN, Slashfilm and the Daily Beast are saying.
Gina Carano has sued Disney and LucasFilm for wrongful termination. The actor was fired from "The Mandalorian" in 2021 after she posted on social media comparing being a Republican to being Jewish during the Holocaust. The suit, funded by Elon Musk, alleges wrongful termination and discrimination, and Carano is asking that LucasFilm recast her and pay at least $75,000 in punitive damages. Variety has more details.
"Echo" starts on Disney Plus tonight, but we have no real idea if it's any good or not — critic reviews are embargoed until all episodes drop at 9pm ET. Marvel actor Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault, and acquitted of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree. He faces up to a year in jail. While he has been dropped by his PR team and management and cut from the film "The Man in My Basement," he still has a major role in the MCU. Update: @IndieWire has confirmed with a Marvel rep that Disney has fired Jonathan Majors from its upcoming projects. There are no further details yet regarding what will happen with the role of Kang the Conqueror.

But, yeah, I'm not sure either about it. Is there a way to find out which author/writer first thought of this idea? Or, was it based on a real-life theory that scifi authors picked-up independently? Or, was it Star Trek that created this approach?
