The #Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs declares the following
⭕ The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms Israel's of the municipality of Rafah, its invasion of the #Rafah border crossing, and the threat to displace citizens from shelter centers.
⭕ We call for urgent international action to prevent an all-out invasion of the entire city. We call for providing full protection for civilians in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law.
⭕ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that forcing civilians to forcibly move from the city, which has become a final refuge for hundreds of thousands of displaced people inside the Gaza Strip, represents a serious violation of international laws.
"We are constantly working to renew (the truce) & to alleviate the burden of our people in the #GazaStrip, but truces are not an alternative for a comprehensive #ceasefire," Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani said in a speech to Gulf leaders gathered in the #Qatari capital #Doha.
#CAIRO — After a long journey from #Gaza, more than 100 American citizens and their families have entered #Egypt through the #RafahCrossing. Jonathan Webster, the #USEmbassy in Cairo's consul general, said some of those families are telling him they ran out of food and water during their journeys. #Israel
