Is it just me or is #Mastodon surprisingly good for #music #recommendations and discovery??

Twitter interactions are mostly intra-fandom and Discord/Reddit really drill down on their niches. I just want one place to get all my genres.

Plus as a person who listens to a lot of #postpunk / #darkwave, gothy spaces online devolve to "that's not #goth, let's define goth for the nth time" or people posting fits instead of music 💀
