People can say, as a kind of solace, "You deserve someone who puts you first and cares about your health. You deserve someone who cares about #DisabilityJustice. You deserve someone who's willing to go against our eugenicist norms to protect you and vulnerable people from #covid."
All of these things are true. And yet they don't capture the #heartbreak and pain of being forever denied what I deserve.
What does it matter if I deserve it, if I'm never going to have to anyway?
