Zomi Frankcom, an Australian aid worker who was killed in an IDF attack in Gaza.
Australian PM Anthony Albanese says the death of an Australian aid worker in Gaza is “completely unacceptable” and “beyond any reasonable circumstances”, saying the government will call in the Israeli ambassador and contact Israel’s government.
Albanese says the government is demanding “full accountability” over the death.
@appassionato@palestine if the "allegations" (obviously lies) that UNRWA members were involved in October 7th was enough to cut funds, shouldn't this "accident" be enough to stop exporting weapons and supporting Israel?
A local right wing asshat has threatened to “lose respect” for me, and warned that “you don’t want to experience that.” He is upset that I shared data showing US citizens commit far more violent crime (absolutely and per capita) than undocumented immigrants. The far right is completely spineless when confronted with reality. #USPol#Extremism#Immigration#Petaluma
"It’s immoral", says UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese
"At least a dozen countries have announced they will be suspending funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
"UNRWA has been a crucial provider of humanitarian aid in Gaza, so why, during a time of crisis & based only on allegations, have countries pulled their funding?"
I'm disgusted by the suggestion donors of good faith should be ashamed of themselves for #Hamas and other #terrorists taking advantage of #freepalestine in #unrwa.

If you just browse, watch Netflix, shop, net banking, etc, Linux distributions like Mint or Ubuntu could save you money. It is an environment-friendly option.
@nixCraft A lot of people are still on Windoze 7 because their hardware does not support upgrading or they would must pay. Some would rather get it "somehow" without "proper" licensing. They incredibly prefer to be totally vulnerable than Free. Any change at all in the way they do things on the computer, even for the best, seems too hard to them because they have no will. So, unfortunately, no matter what we say, they will continue to helplessly feed the dark side.
