I got an immediate network crash as I dropped into a difficulty 7 mission. Hoping it was a one off, I played 4 difficulty 5 matches afterwards with no issues. I’ll try getting the next difficulty level this week and hopefully it’s a little better.

I jumped on earlier, difficulty 7 with randoms, immediate network disconnect. Played a couple of difficultly 5, zero issues. Gonna try and get the next difficulty this week and hopefully this was just a high volume one off! Also apologies, should have stated PS5 in my original post, jealous of the PC workarounds.

Hoping it plays ok later today (5pm ET), the patch notes call out the Acquisitions menu as the cause, that wasn’t the case for me. Feels like when too many enemies dropped in, divers start dropping one by one.

I just played a Medium, no issues, a bit of EAT spamming. Last night, EAT all over the shot and an abundance of enemies. I suspect at higher difficulty the game is struggling. Gonna stick to mid difficulty for a bit.

This is great news, I’ve been busy with my wife’s birthday and I then got sick, so I’ve been playing Bolatro because this game can be stressful AF! But I’m very excited to dive back in this week. Really hope the mech is a bit more sturdy now, when I played Friday, it blew up almost immediately just using the gun and not the rockets. Also the stupid reset issue is finally gone!

WFH thankfully, so I can boot up the PS5. I do have a Steam Deck, but I’m not paying for the game twice without cross-save. I did install a PS remote play app and fucked with that a little, but I rarely don’t have access to the TV. It’s only if my wife wants to play TOTK on the TV.

One of those games I’m glad I bought at launch, although I’ve fired it up 3-4 times and struggled with the mechanics… it’s nice to know it’s still evolving and I can always start fresh again with the new content. If I wasn’t so deep into Helldivers I’d give it another go right now… but Democracy can’t wait!

Similar to Glide said above, wanted a space sim and realize it’s more of a survival game. On the opposite end I played a little Elite Dangerous which was WAY TOO INVOLVED space sim!

I think Arctic is the winner for me, I like the layout and settings. Also Memmy removed the swipe from left to access subscribed communities and it’s been impossible to get out of the habit, Arctic seems to do it!

Not a lame suggest at all, this is probably saner option than me throwing $$$ on an 11th gen i7. Doing some research and I'm curious if you have a recommendation on adapter? I know the ASIX AX88179 is suggested and the Plugable adapter uses that chipset. I'd prefer to get something I know will work plug and play, then I can continue testing to ensure it's just the NIC and nothing else. I also have an Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter, I've not invested too much effort into troubleshooting, it doesn't seem to work natively out the box with Proxmox/Debian.

I should add, I’ve been paying monthly for Plex for years. Finally got the lifetime membership last year, although I don’t love Plex’s decisions, I feel financially obligated to keep using it for at least a few more years.

All I want to do is play more Helldivers 2 on PS5. The good and bad news is that everyone else is feeling similar and I know the experience hasn’t been perfect, but I’ve got faith in the developers! I’ve had success with matchmaking and I find the game so much fun when you are in a squad!

Randomly watched the Kindafunny gameplay on Thursday. I was interested because it felt like Division 2 and Starship Troopers had a baby based on the gameplay trailers. Game looked really fun and Greg gave it an initial 5/5 based on a day of playing on stream. Managed to convince my best friend in Australia to pick it up as well on PS5. It’s $40 and I had PS credit, so it felt like a steal.

I’ve been playing all weekend, when I’m not playing, I’m thinking about it. At first matchmaking wasn’t working, I really enjoyed the easy solo missions and then finally on Saturday our timezones aligned and we played doubles. This game is so fun with other people, the accidental friendly fire is hilarious at times and makes you strategic with where you shoot and walk.

It isn’t perfect, visually a little glitchy at times and the climbing is terrible, but I’m excited to unlock the jump pack. I can also see it getting repetitive without new content in the future, fingers crossed they planned ahead.

The battle pass doesn’t feel predatory, you collect the currency while playing and get the premium currency to unlock the paid battle pass. If you play a lot, you likely won’t need to spend any more!

I’ve been playing Cyberpunk and felt uncertain about it, sometimes it has too much going on… this game is mindless fun but also challenging and unpredictable.

Right now it’s my favorite game of the year (early I know). Now the matchmaking works and once my Pulse Elite arrive, this might be my main game for a while!

Helldivers 2 was the sleeper hit I wasn’t expecting! Watched the Kindafunny review and enjoyed the gameplay. Had some PS credit and figured $40 ain’t bad! I’m so hooked! Been playing with my best friend who’s playing on the opposite side of the world and we’re giggling like we are 9 again! Even playing solo or with randos is fun!

FYI, matchmaking was working for me yesterday on PS5 post update. I’d get the occasional disconnect when trying to join, but it worked 85% in comparison to 0% on Thursday/Friday. Really fun jumping in with 4 randoms and tackling the side missions. My PS4 headset is dying, so I’m waiting for the new Pulse to arrive, I don’t usually do voice with random matchmaking, but I’m open to it with this game and it feels like a necessity. Hoping PlayStation invests in server improvements for the game considering the high number of concurrent players at launch!

I started getting Santa Cruz Shredder’s after trying a few different gimmicky grinders. Stay away from the Kannastor GR8TR multiple of them broke on me and the paint chipped off really quick.

The year before GoW 2018, he released Drawn to Death… PS Plus release that had some cool style but otherwise crap game! He was relevant back in the late 90s and early 2000s… but now his opinion hardly matters and he’s a bit of a drama queen. I don’t really give a shit what he thinks.

It’s next on my list! I did War in the Pocket before starting 0079. I also crushed Witch from Mercury over the summer.

I got into Gundam earlier this year, had my honeymoon in Japan, went to see the Unicorn and RX-78F00. Picked up a few HG kits, I just finished this Heavyarms I got at Gundam Factory Yokohama!

Also a big fan of lighting one up and doing a build, although I hated the all clear plastic, even with sanding I got some gnarly stress marks on the nubs. Might try a RG next and be a little more adventurous with the painting.
