This is my general recommendation for the best acoustic for the price. They play and feel like an $800 guitar. The tone, neck, and overall quality is phenomenal. You can occasionally find deals on these around $300. The "folk" version is incredibly versatile, so it is worthy for unplugged campfires as well as playing live. It's a solid workhorse that won't have a problem keeping up with a Martin or Taylor and won't give you "glass mandolin syndrome".

is generally my default goto for image bases when I'm writing stuff from scratch. I love how lightweight and simple it is, so I'll often start there until I can prove that I need something more complex.

On that note - need to move some data to S3? Here's an image I pushed today that includes and zip and gets built/tested/pushed weekly by our Jenkins farm at my $DAYJOB. @mattdm In seriousness, beagles are often mass bred for research purposes, especially in China and the US, and treated absolutely horribly. It's because the breed isn't prone to health issues and are docile. The same features that make them a great family pet are why they get mass abused.

@triskelion Nothing wrong with that! They're both very good and the KeePassXC community is better for both existing.

KeePass2Android comes full featured and occasionally solicits donations (which I've given in the past) where KeePassDX has a more freemium model where you buy an unlocker for things like TOTP support. Both are open source AFAIK.

KeePass2Android works with my nextcloud. I haven't tried that against KeePassDX yet.

@mcrocker I have setup FIDO for a few sites but haven't done passkey yet. I like the idea of having passkey credentials stored in my KeePass database that's synced and backed up on all of my own devices and infrastructure and just need to take a little time to explore it more.

@mcrocker It looks like browser support is part of the problem. just closed their support issue for it with a patch targeting the 128 release, so it looks like Firefox might very well win this race, which is a very good thing for me as a Firefox user.

Maybe it was ultimately an unsustainable pace, but my goodness their glory days were glorious.

@joel @RL_Dane It depends on how retro, but you already have lag from up scaling, and there will always be more lag from Bluetooth over wired. I tried Sonic 2 once this way and it was entirely unplayable for me. The experience is night and day from running it on the actual console.

How good is the battery life on my 11? I spent all day at , leaving at close. Relatives with iPhones had their batteries die around noon to mid-afternoon. Disneyland sells portable chargers everywhere. I never charged my phone once, used it all throughout the day (pretty much have to run Disneyland app), didn't use any power saving mode, etc, and when I got back in around 1:30am, I still had 55% left.

@mwhjohnson I have a PRS Custom 24-08, which is much more convincing for doing PAF and Strat sounds. This guitar tone lives somewhere inbetween those two worlds.

Pound for pound, the whammy system on a #Fender Stratocaster is as good as it gets. I'm obviously not saying it's better than everything else in every way, but I'd take it over a Bigsby or Floyd Rose for any #guitar that I'm also in charge of tuning and changing strings on.

@RenewedRebecca That's fair. I was mentally grouping in the PRS system with the Strat when I posted this. PRS used to have a bit of a bad reputation for their trem, but they've really improved it in recent years. PRS generally beats a Strat for sustain no matter how you slice it.

@RenewedRebecca I hear that. I've been focusing on selling things lately but somehow have acquired two more guitars this month 😬. Neither were frivolous, but I feel like I should impose a significant mandatory cool down period after that. I'm also certain my wife agrees 😅.
