But it doesn’t work in user chrome, it works in userContent but only if I don’t put it inside @ moz something. I don’t know why, I even created a new css file to do it and nothing.

@MrOtherGuy any ideas on what to do?

I managed to do it with this:

@-moz-document url("chrome://browser/content/preferences/dialogs/translations.xhtml"){
 #alwaysTranslateLanguagesTree > treecols:nth-child(1) > treecol:nth-child(1) {
  color: red !important;
 }
}

in userContent outside of @-moz-document url("about:preferences")

Oh yeah, English is not my first language so I forgot how they were named.

Would you recommend me putting comments on the majority of lines to know what they do? Or just like a general title like: “color text when hovering” and just leaving the code like that?

Okay, so basically it is not worth it to do that all trouble. I thought it could be done with css.

Oh yeah I know it’s with userContent, I thought that it could also work the code you sent if I put it in userContent, but I tried and it sadly doesn’t.

Well, apparently it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/gWGaIDF with this code:

.treeItem.selected { background-color: red !important; }

but there's a gray part that doesn't get covered, and only works if I put the background color as red, or other colors (not black) and doesn't work if I put a variable as a color.
