A Windows user, a Mac user, and a Linux user walk into a bar.

➡️ The #Linux user installs a whole brewery in the corner and declares free drinks for everyone, but then spends the rest of the night explaining why their homemade brew is objectively superior.
@nixCraft Then a second #Linux user comes along, decides that the free drinks are not quite right and the brewery in the corner was not installed correctly. So another brewery appears in the opposite corner...
The home-made brew is objectively superior, @nixCraft , or rather, it was before it went flat in the barrel while the #linux user was faffing about with Kernel patches and modules and other hardware stuff.

@nixCraft Somebody tries to get a beer from the free brewery. They immediately get food poisoning and have to go to the hospital, they never checked if their body hardware was compatible. The issue is so obscure that nobody at the hospital can help. After countless hours of digging on obscure internet forums, it turns out there's an antidote, but it must be made from a fruit that only grows in Malaysian forests. It turns out the antidote doesn't actually work. After a few more attempts, it's discovered that the fruit must be harvested in june; the only other person who ever had this problem before actually tried it in june, so they were fine and they didn't know it was a requirement.
@nixCraft Installs a brewery, declares free drinks, but 3 out of 10 guests also need to drink the beer out of specialised glasses, and another one simply cannot taste anything.
Suddenly the linux brewer admits that one micro-ingrdient in their brew is toxic (#xz#lzma) and that it may be a remote possibility that their microbrew drinkers may be affected.
They do tests and find out that both the #windows and #mac users have also been affected, meanwhile the #android user is having a stroke!
