Not to mention that even the "socially left" is highly questionable. When I see a leader who's willing to throw other marginalized groups such as Palestinians, refugees, and BIPOC under the bus, I have no doubt he'd have us LGBTQIA+ people lined up and executed if he thought it would help him win elections. Establishment Democrats are not allies, no matter how many rainbows they project on the White House.

The two main things would be completely ending support for Israel and taking at least some meaningful steps toward ending border fascism and at the very least stop using the myth of a "border crisis" to pander to the ignorance of constituents.
If he'd do at least these two things, I'd at least feel hopeful that he'd do some more good going forward, but instead he's only thrown more and more fuel on these racist dumpster fires.

I just tried double-tapping an image, and it does zoom in considerably, though that's a vast improvement over when zooming was so restricted in Jerboa that I couldn't zoom enough to read the text in screenshots and other images. (I've always pinched though, so I guess I have more control over the zoom level.)

I too have considered the idea of starting a community with others and trying to save as many people as we can, but I feel like we'd have to relocate, which would require resources I lack.

One of my anarchist discord friends sent me the book "Joyful Militancy" which is helping me feel less hopeless (and which actually inspired me to make this post), but the idea of outing myself as an anarchist is scary here. If I were younger, I'd feel like I could do something on college campuses, but I'm an old person now.
I used to know some allies when I was younger and part of a scene, but they all moved states because of the hostile environment here. We've considered moving back to Mexico. I don't really know what I'm doing, but you've got my mind moving, so thanks.
Yeah also thinking about my job because I do feel I help people in what I do, but it's frustrating here. I was confused by this same thing. Afaik clicking accept within the notification did the trick because it's working, and when I clicked into the add-ons manager and checked permissions for Bitwarden, I didn't see anything amiss.
