#WonderWoman #7
Ok, the was freaking adorable. A for-fun ish' were Wondy & Sups go looking for a birthday gift for Batman. About how hard that task is, Diana's troubles, & why malls can still be fun.
Some great expressions here. We dont see Diana & Clark do much, just the two. And this is that story. Taylor excels at heroes just hanging out (see his Date Night story). @comics#comics#DC#Superman

I am digging the #TomKing run on #WonderWoman so far. It is a bit icky to have it narrated by by the Sovreign the whole time. But other than that, so far it's a solid go. Awesome art by #DanielSampere (below). Excellent, clean, smooth lines. Chars very presant in the story.
Still on the fence about #Trinity. There is stuff to like, stuff to not. Kinda like where they are going w/ Jon & Damien & her. But still not sure. @comics#DC
I just finished reading Batman - The Refurn of the Dark Knight, by Frank Miller, Klaus Janson and Lynn Varley. I really like this edition, it’s an outstanding discussion. It seems that, as always, the world is heading for cycles of entropy because of the traps we create ourselves. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Batman in real life to fix all the crappy things we did to ourselves.
I’ve had this game for several years, but now that I’m looking at it carefully. I just finished Chapter I and I can say that it is a very engaging story. For those who are a fan of Batman Year One, this game is for you.
Despite the problems it went through, Telltale has always known how to make narrative games of exceptional quality. It’s no different here.
@comics The story is so engaging that I couldn’t turn off the game and I decided to keep playing a little bit more. I’ve finished Chapter 2 now. What a fantastic game! What a twist!
"Joker: Folie à Deux," Todd Phillips' sequel to his 2019 movie will not be out until October this year, but GQ says you can watch a better version today. "The People's Joker" is a crowdsourced DIY project from director-cowriter-star Vera Drew about her experiences as a trans woman in comedy, and it was released last week. Here's Jesse Hassenger's breakdown of the movie, which he says, "feels like a more sincere, fully-felt act of adaptation than several 'real' treatments of these characters."
VOA loves to get fan mail. A total of 118 letters have been received from one person in Japan! I want to thank Mr. Saito for his correspondence but it’s all in Braille (English or 点字?) and no one here can read it. Any suggestions from the Fediverse?
@w7voa I'm afraid could be Japanese,
but it's hard to tell from the photo.
The papir should be flatter to avoid distortion.
The braille is soviso not easily visible as it is tactile writing.
When I try to transcribe the first line, the following Braille appears. ⠒⠒ ⠠⠎⠄⠼⠙⠉ ⠴⠠⠞⠎⠥⠥⠝⠁⠛⠕⠝⠂würde in American English gives the following: 33 ,s'#dc 0,tsuunagon1
but I'm not an expert and can't decipher the photo very well.

#StefanieLambert, a #Michigan lawyer who has championed dubious claims of election fraud, was arrested Mon afternoon because of a bench warrant, acc/to a spox for the #USMarshals Service.
Yesterday, Aaron Bushnell, an active-duty member of the Air Force and an anarchist, set fire to himself in front of the Israeli embassy in #DC, in what they called an "extreme act of protest" against the ongoing genocide and ethnic-cleansing of #Gaza by the state of Israel.
Bushnell was involved in various mutual aid projects.
Already, far-Right grifters and pundits have attacked his anarchist beliefs as signs of him being mentally "disturbed."
Bushnell's death comes as Israel prepares to invade #Rafah, where over a million Palestinian refugees have been pushed into tent cities.
Hello #MastoAdmin, if you are a small (lets say under 100 active) instance in #Pennsylvania, #Delaware, #Maryland, #DC, or #Virginia and want to join my #relay, follow the instructions at https://relay.epistolary.org/ and link to the "local" federated feed. Right now it's open-ish, hopefully people are generally good enough that we can keep it that way. 👀
@mattblaze So darn pretty. I first saw this bridge as a kid in 1970: even then. #DC The Taft bridge's repeating, almost-fractal detail elements really lend themselves to the "precisionist" perspective you point out. Nice work.
FYI: #MSNBC will air this live in minutes, audio only.
Trump’s only there for 2 reasons: To show how aggrieved he is and to use the photo opp to spew more lies and smears to incite his base… all to get votes to stay out of prison.
So in this episode they go into a cave, and can read some sort of energy field, as well as Troi having a sense that there are lifeforms present. Geordie explains that the people must be displaced in time, but only by a few milliseconds. If that’s true, how is there not overlap? Say the people are a few milliseconds ahead of...
But, yeah, I'm not sure either about it. Is there a way to find out which author/writer first thought of this idea? Or, was it based on a real-life theory that scifi authors picked-up independently? Or, was it Star Trek that created this approach?
(And again, that frame rate approach is great. ^_^)
question about "synchronic displacement" in TNG 'Times Arrow'
