How does an artist celebrate their birthday?

By showcasing some of my favorite models. (wish I could show them all.)

As not a role model I endorse this horror vs fantasy theory of writing.
But what if when you go through the portal, the portal also goes through you? 😜 😆

I'm watching again (nth time) and I realised something I didn't before.

All our about man becoming very intelligent and/or “accessing more of our brain capability” leads to us losing our emotions and turn robotic. Like in (remember Season 05).

Another example is in , not humans exactly, but the Asgard hinted that they once were like humans, full of emotions. However, when they reached their current level of intelligence and brain processing, it all went away.

Roland Emmerich's Stargate was released 29 years ago today.

This film spawned an entire TV universe, from 1997 to 2011, and a continuation or reboot is expected in the next few years.

More proportions practice. I’m deliberately choosing things I’ve drawn before or at least people I’ve drawn before so I can see if there’s progress. So here’s a little Zelenka from Stargate!

Wohoo, my replacement Firefly Blurays arrived. The first set i ordered had a small defect in disc 2, making one of the episodes unreadable in one region. This one seems fine. No read errors.

Good thing I've started to check the discs in the boxsets. I've had a lot of issues with the big 41 disc Stargate boxset produces by VEI. The disc production is of mediocre quality, which is disappointing considering the steep price.

    Hello, Mastodon!

    A quick Stargate SG1 color/light study.

I think I overworked it and lost some of the energy it had earlier. Kept trying to get the accuracy higher. "When to stop" is the hardest question to answer in drawing/painting!

    Also...glasses...shakes fist in air

Writing wise it's mostly blogs from road trips, other experiences, the occasional long form research and which is the bulk of my long form fiction-based writing. Do have one or two other original fiction pieces which I've been working on for years and not getting anywhere.

My first time ever on a TV set, I was nervous, intimated & worried about making foolish mistakes.

My union crew encouraged, mentored, & celebrated having having a real-life scientist working on their show. They’re why I was far more confident my first time on set for my next show!

to my first days on set overlooking the Stargate: Atlantis gateroom vs revelling in Destiny’s gateroom my first day on set for Stargate: Universe.

Mika joyously throwing her hands in the air directly in front of the starship gateroom for Stargate: Universe
