It's been underreported. But there is considerable chatter that some Yuzu developers had access to official Nintendo SDKs, which really calls into question if it was really clean room reverse engineered.

A lot of outlets are acting like it's mysterious that Nintendo seems to be ignoring Ryujinx, but if such reporting is to be believed; then the motivations behind targeting Yuzu specifically become practically crystalline in their clarity.
