As I note in my profile, I use Mastodon wrong. I do things like post threads, fail to put content warnings on black and white photos, and only rarely turn my posts into ransom notes with prolific hashtags.

I am already aware of these deficiencies; telling me about them won't help. I'm incapable of improving.

was briefly baffled by this CAPTCHA until i realized it was asking me to identify the animal that was bigger than the other animals in the picture, not the animal that, in real life, is bigger than roughly 1cm

(watching TNG's "Half a Life")

Good evening, TGIF and Happy First Contact Day!

While I'm not a big fan of Lwaxana Troi, this is one of my top 2 favorite Lwaxana episodes (tied with "Dark Page").

I do prefer her later appearances on TNG and then DS9 over her earlier episodes on TNG when her character was more comedic and a bit over the top.
