Great news that the radical feminist/queer journal 'Urania,' in circulation between 1916 and 1940, has now been digitised by LSE Library. Still, going to read the original copies earlier this year was a wonderful, if somewhat dizzying, research experience . . . 📚 😵

I thought I was fairly well versed in the #QueerHistory of US film. The interviews gave me info I didn't know about, e.g., creators fighting specific behind-the-scenes fights to keep gay subtext onscreen. Plus funny anecdotes, & a deleted scene from "Spartacus".
I'm reading Charles Darwin's barnacle study with a queer eye with a mind towards developing my 2021 article 'Darwin's Closet' . . . but, doing a bit of googling around it, I find that someone on Reddit has already beat me to the core thesis . . . 🤨
