The US government is ending the program that provides free COVID vaccines to people who are uninsured and underinsured.

This is a public health failure that will further decrease already low vax rates, and puts marginalized communities at greater risk.

May 12, 2017 – Donald Trump shared highly classified information with the Russian foreign minister and Russian ambassador at a WH meeting. The disclosure jeopardized the identity of a source that had infiltrated the Islamic State—an extremely sensitive piece of information. Trump had, “revealed more information to the Russian Ambassador than we’ve shared with our own allies,” said a US official in The Washington Post.

Someone said it's important say this publicly in the US: so I will. (And I think each of us should, online and to friends)

This November I will vote for Biden.

I would regard not voting for Biden, particularly in: PA, OH, MI, WI, IN, IL,VA, GA, FL, AZ, ME, NC, NH, etc. as a huge error. I'd be disappointed to find out anyone I knew didn't vote. It's one of a long list of things we need to do. We can't skip it.

And still? We deserve better choices, and in the future we shall have them.

@suzannealdrich @PandaChronicle @mfennvt @futurebird sympathy, as a young adult my reaction to the Iraq war was to register Libertarian when I turned 18. (They were very anti-war in 2007.)

I was very against “lesser of two evils” voting until I was tying my shoes to go vote the morning of the 2016 election. I sat there staring at my shoelaces thinking “oh my god, Trump is completely unfit for the job.” I voted for Clinton that day and have consistently voted D since

I sure hope that Americans put Joe Biden back in office to continue the tremendous progress he's made towards rewilding so much of the USA.

With more than 41 million acres already conserved, President Biden is on track to conserve more lands and waters than any president in history.

Check out this map of all of this just from his Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Restoration and Resilience Projects:

"Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other entities of that nature. If you look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians, relative to other social media sites—it’s overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts." — Mitt Romney

It's wild how he so casually says the quiet part out loud. The government is literally trying to stifle free speech and crush TikTok in order to quell pro-Palestinian content. :neofox_what: I've been saying this for a while because the urgency to ban TikTok didn't make sense otherwise, but people kept saying I need to take my tinfoil hat off. Well, here's a ranking senator talking to the secretary of state saying exactly that.

The government wants to crush the first amendment to prop up Zionism. Fascism is firmly bipartisan in America.

For those losing their heads over today's actions by Judge Cannon, take a deep breath. This was always going to happen. The writing has been on the wall since Judge Cannon was drawn for the case. Getting all worked up about it is only going to make you crazy and desperate. The way we will rid ourselves of this menace is at the polls in November.

For a sober discussion on this topic this exchange today between @Teri_Kanefield and @JonChevreau is highly recommended:

So, how is it that women keep voting for Republicans? How much abuse is needed to get these same women to make decisions for their own good, and for the good of their progeny?
