@fedora #Fedora 40 #IOT will be my first #immutable OS for my home #server (in hope to have the same experience i have with the VM i use (#Silverblue) that give me a 2 #commands #upgrade each version.

If i where writing a letter to them (maybe since i mentioned them) i would ask an #easier way to auto update #podman #container.

And a #native (auto #decryption) of the #OS using #TPM ship (i know the tuto on fedora magazine but sometimes it fail i woule prefer native one).

Upgraded my server's OS, so now it's on PHP8.2

And nextcloud is the thing which this breaks: You are version 24, and version 24 doesn't support PHP8.2.

Damnit. Right.

Fine, I'll install the latest version then.

Oh no: Nextcloud don't support jumping more than one version at a time.

It wants me to find and install version 25 first, and then version 26, and only then version 27.

I wonder if version 25 supported PHP8?....

Nope.

Well that's fucked then isn't it?

Anyone got any clues how I can upgrade to version 25 when my PHP version is too new for that old version of Nextcloud?

More productivity! Now that I'm back at home, I'm upgrading my Linux Mint machine to the new Vanessa. I had to actually do it via the GUI though as it launches a GUI to go through the process, but that's ok. That's what VNC is for, right? (I didn't see how to do it via CLI but no biggie)
