A year-long joint investigation by The Washington Post, Lighthouse Reports and a consortium of international media outlets shows how the EU and individual European nations are supporting and financing aggressive operations by governments in North Africa to detain tens of thousands of migrants each year and dump them in remote areas, often barren deserts. https://wapo.st/3UQ292T

So, as UK citizens, how can we put pressure on our government to stop sending weapons to Israel ?

We should not be playing any part in enabling this conflict to continue.

I want to thank all the fans for being so loyal, engaged and hilarious over all these years. It’s truly been an honor of a lifetime to gain and keep such an amazing following. See you over at the stack.

I remember being chastised by CW evangelists when I first arrived (I'm being polite) and it almost put me off. I'm glad I stuck around. There's more than enough content and people now to satisfy my needs. The proliferation of news bots helped too.

If the usage ballooned from 900K to many millions I'm not sure I'd notice that much change to my timelines. I can't possibly interact with that many people.

Of the top 10 most active servers it lists, eight of them are federating, one is offering limited federation (infosec.exchange), and one is de-federating Threads (mas.to).

Of course, there's some notable large servers missing from this list. For example, is misskey.io federating with Threads?

That they can't even drive these cars in the state they're assembled should be setting off lots of alarm bells.

Hydrogen for transport is a con. Hardly any of it is green, what's available is in very short supply and it's horrendously expensive at the pump — $32 per kg in California last time I checked.
