I voted for in 2020 for one reason: to stop Trumpism.

Instead of doing so, he slashed SNAP, told states/cities to spend COVID relief funding on police, passed an infrastructure bill that benefitted the auto industry ahead of mass transit, extended Trump’s border wall, deported more Haitians than any other POTUS, smeared our college students as antisemitic, denied the rights of migrant kids, and alienated other nations.

So any scolds that Biden will stop Trump in 2024 ring hollow to me.

On Al Jazeera this morning the reporter at George Washington University described the unwillingness of the DC to respond to GW administration requests for arrests of nonviolent protesters.

The reporter added that the cops and the District may be hesitant due to the tens of millions of dollars they had to pay in damages for their crackdown on Black Lives Matter. They don’t want to risk any more lawsuits. still having an impact.
