Danish Prime Minister Mette has called on other European countries to follow 's example and provide with more air defense systems. “We need five or six more Patriot systems,”. These systems are in Europe. It is better to have air defense systems in Ukraine than in NATO countries. The fighting in Ukraine was not going in the right direction. “The Ukrainians need more,” she says, also referring to ammunition.

Ok reflecting back on the . I loved it! It was a good challenge both choosing countries / coins & getting it all written. My first thought was to make the posts shorter.... but they didn't end up any shorter, which I take as my own inability to compromise on information - & how fascinating everything is! One I learnt a lot writing was the Roman Denarius Fouree: https://coinofnote.com/19-b-c-rome-augustus-denarius-fouree/

Part 2 of my reflection. I love the personal connection you find with & the community. I wrote most of the posts in the weeks prior to the . This was fortuitous as my mother passed away early in April. But those connections made it a joy to re-read each post & share it. Today's is from day "D", , & a park open when my ancesters lived there: https://coinofnote.com/25-ore-token-denmark-dyrehavsbakken/

Medieval weapon chest found on Gribshunden – The History Blog
http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/70030

"The exploration of the wreck of the 15th century Danish royal warship Gribshunden has uncovered a unique late medieval weapons chest. It is a zeuglade, an ammunition storage and production toolbox that we know from illustrations around that time often accompanied armies on battlefields."

An interesting article in Sociological Review:

Othering, peaking, populism and moral panics: The reactionary strategies of organised transphobia

Fran Amery and Aurelien Mondon

This article shows that organised transphobia is promoted using similar strategies and politics as the wider reactionary movement which has become increasingly mainstream. In particular, we outline the transphobic process of ‘othering’ based on moral panics, which seeks to construct, homogenise and exaggerate a threat and to naturalise it in the bodies and existence of the ‘Other’. Reactionary politics rely on authoritarian tendencies and strategies which aim to remove the rights of certain communities, and as such threaten wider demands for equal rights. They claim to speak on behalf of ‘the people’, in this case often (certain) women, against an elite which seeks to grant unfair rights and privileges to a mostly silent and silenced minority, even though said rights are precarious and limited, and power is rarely on their side. Rather than a bottom-up movement in defence of women, what we refer to as ‘organised transphobia’ is a top-down movement that relies on prominent platforms and privileged access to shaping public discourse to divert attention away from the real struggle most women and LGBTQ+ people are facing conjointly.

What happened to "civilized west'" support of law and order and enforcing the demands of Security Council and ?

7 days have passed, Israel not only ignored the ruling, it has escalated their war crimes in both and occupied West Bank.

They haven't allowed humanitarian aid, but murdered western volunteers feeding the starving palestinians.

hasn't pushed for ceasefire and release of the hostages, instead they have given billions of dollars worth of 2000 pound bombs and F-35 fighter jets to Israel.

hasn't stopped selling weapons to Israel despite them laying about it and ignoring the parliament ruling.

UK simply don't give a shit.
Neither does , , , , and other "civilized European" nations.

According to Danish folklore, a troll blacksmith once lived inside one of the hills on the lands of Nyegaard. Anyone who left some iron (plus a shilling for payment) next to the hill overnight would find a finished product waiting for them the next morning.

Bad Biden - good Canada.
In court ruled to halt weapons export, through the project, because of the "clear risk the exported F-35 parts are used in serious violations of international humanitarian law".
In 4 ngo's, have started a case against the danish state to do the same. Denmark is also exporting mission critical parts through the F35 project for the F35 planes being used in

A tanker from the shadow fleet of ships assembled to carry Russian oil was involved in a collision near Denmark, casting fresh light on the risks vessels with unknown ownership pose to the world’s oceans.

The incident, which involved the 15-year-old Andromeda Star oil tanker, occurred on March 2, the Danish Maritime Authority said in a statement. The case is still under investigation, it said without providing further details.

Today, we had a largish raid group of 11+ to take on an in - it turned out to be a good raid.

Just for fun, my strongest ditto was backing up my mega salamence who was in #1 position. Turns out that the ditto's shapeshift did not cancel out my salamance's mega form which was a happy surprise 😁

I won the Raid Buddy award but the ditto doesn't show up alas 😞
