It's 2024, the jurors won't be anonymous for long. Dulcé Sloan on The Daily Show said she would've found juror number 2 on Facebook in 5 seconds.

"This reporter just put her entire LinkedIn page on the screen, & then was like, 'People in the media need to stop doing this.'
The call is coming from inside the newsroom, girl! That's enough information to track down anybody."

The court had over a year to prepare for this day. They failed.
Is law enforcement prepared to protect jurors?

@spocko I'm waiting for the day when the people of the USA realize that exists, it is a right for every human being, and some law inspired by the should be created at the federal level.

In December, we started to federate the accounts of some Flipboard publishers and in February, we introduced Magazines to the fediverse. Now, we’re taking two important steps: federating the accounts of 400 creators and expert curators; and enabling two-way communication so that new followers and fediverse activity are visible and actionable in the Flipboard app.

@Flipboard very nice! Is there a way to discover federated accounts other than reading a spreadsheet?

It seems a bit uncovenient on mobile devices.

A web directory like what appears on Mastodon websites would be cool. Also, do you have the equivalent of an "instance timeline"? Not sure if that is the correct name.

@Flipboard not sure what the correct name is, but I am referring to a gigantic feed that shows all public posts shared by all members of a specific instance.

@1password I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to log in with a website showing a QR code (for the passkey) on a desktop client.

Assuming I have 1Password on my Android device, where do I scan the QR code? After opening 1Password on Android there does not seem to be a button for that purpose. 🤔
