Mit anderen Menschen in den Bergen hoch über den Tälern solche Momente zu teilen ist einfach einmalig. Der Sonnenuntergang ließ mich die Stille genießen ☺️ 😍
Last week I wrote a post on my blog about a myth from Northern #Alps, in #Italy.
It is about the Crodères, beings who inhabit the mountains who have a stone heart, so they can't feel any emotions. It is the story of their queen, Tanna, who instead loved to help humans.
That is a #myth like no other I know because of its structure, with no climax or twists, and tells about how harsh life is, and the process of our inner growth. It's very interesting, it has multiple interpretations.
What’s in there? I decided we had to find out. This region has no natural caves, they were all created during WWI, as points of defense, for look-outs and to serve as battlements. This was possibly used for canons(?), with windows in different directions. (See next pics.) There are miles of tunnels under the mountains here, connecting different points.
Day two of surreal is real. These are huge. On the tallest spire—Paternkofel—is a cross (they’re on the highest peaks everywhere where rock climbers have been). My husband has scaled it twice, once in a snowstorm. Craziness.

I've been away for a week to a beautiful valley in the Alps. I feel so relaxed as if I was gone for four weeks 😊 Except my legs. They were doing overtime! #FotoMontag#Alps#Austria
I set the alarm clock at 5am yesterday to go out on a solo hike and it did not disappoint.
What a sunrise and what a view! 🤩🔥🔥 #hike#sunrise#mountain#alps#france
This is one of my absolute stunners. I have it also printed on my wall here. Everything was perfect that day. Truly one of the best things that could happen to me
I'm sorry, but I'll post it repeatedly here because I just love it sooo much.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. And I can just recommend printing it! ;-)
