Heute gibt’s mal Druck… mehrere… also … gehören aufs Papier/Pappe/Alu/… also analog.

Meine Empfehlung: Die digitalen Erinnerungen immer mal wieder in Materie wandeln und „begreifen“, anfassen und durch indirektes Licht lebendig werden lassen.

Mehrere gedruckte Fotos liegen auf einem Stapel lose übereinander. Zu erkennen ist ein dunkles Pferd mit hellem Schweif von hinten, ein orangenfarbener Schmetterling auf einer gelb-weißen Blüte vor grünem Blätterhintergrund. Ein Pferd ganz klein vor viel Wald und Wiese

Mal was neues probiert: Hahnemühle German Etching 310g. Eher warmes weiß, sehr deutliche Struktur.

Na Aufnahme eines Druckes um die Papierstruktur zu zeigen. Hier äußere Rand des Druckes/das Passpartout.

I've finished my Haddon Hall piece. I'm struggling with a name though. It depicts the highest window in an area called the Squinches. So something like Top of the Squinches, High Squinches? I need to think 🤔

Prepping for some new miniatures of Haddon Hall's wonderful windows - maybe a ? Once Chatsworth Showcae ends, my next show will be the PDA Gatehouse Gallery at Haddon Hall. We are exhibiting throughout June and (hopefully) these 4 new works will be there.

We had a wonderful evening capturing night photos on the Milwaukee lakefront. The reflection of the buildings on the waterfront in the still water was truly breathtaking when the fountain was turned off. I converted the image to black & white to enhance the contrast between light & night. Check out prints and more in my gallery.

    Todays has been all about preparation. Choosing and stretching fabric onto my frames. Copying my line drawings onto thin paper and reducing the size. Selecting a palette. All that remains for these two new is to transfer my line drawing onto the fabric and start stitching 😊
