Crocs used to just be beloved of gardeners and dads with plantar fasciitis. But over the past few years it's also been collaborating with some interesting brands and individuals, including 7-Eleven, Lil Nas X, Balenciaga, and KFC (the last of which had Croc charms that smelled like chicken drumsticks). The latest hookup is with Pringles for a collection that comprises Classic Clogs, Slides, and an ankle-high boot with a holster to store a pack of Croc-Tail Party-flavored Pringles (watermelon, chilli and lime). Here's more from Allrecipes. What's your opinion?

Yet another of the supposedly revolutionary developments promised by tech companies is being abandoned.

Amazon said the days of human cashiers were numbered. Now it’s pulling its “just walk out” automated systems from existing stores.

According to a new report by the BBC, self-checkouts have been a failure. It's not just because they take jobs from humans; customers frequently need help to use them, and retailers say they lead to increased theft. Some stores are moving away from the technology, but a 2021 survey of 1,000 American shoppers say they prefer it. Here's the full story. What's your opinion?

Self-checkout stands have been around since the 1980s. And yet, the self-checkout area remains “a bit of a wild, wild West, with plenty of road rage cruising down those lanes.” Here's a story from The Takeout on “The 8 Unbreakable Rules of Self-Checkout Etiquette.” An important read because the people behind you in line might not think your toddler’s attempts to scan the broccoli florets are all that cute.

For years, London's Oxford Street has been overrun by American candy shops, many of which were fronts for illegitimate businesses. Now, Westminster Council is attempting to regenerate the waning shopping district by allowing up-and-coming businesses to open in vacant units, rent-free, with reduced business rates and mentoring support. Thoughts on instant grocery apps

My life isn't cool enough for most apps. I'm never wandering through a new city, waiting to be bombarded with special offers. I don't need to meet hot singles in my area. And I can't remember the last time I went to a secret last-minute gig.

But I do like eating cheap food!

London seems flooded with Instant Grocery apps right now. A dozen different start-ups which
