If a male gets grossed out by the idea of wearing pink, that's toxic masculinity. It's ok to have preferences, like I don't like the color pink" but to be actively repulsed by it shows you have a fear of being emasculated. You have a fear that you might be seen as "not a manly man"

Other examples include being repulsed by rainbows, being afraid of showing your feelings/crying, being afraid of gay people, etc.

Good thing to have are: being willing to have a discussion without trying to "win", get angry or disregard the other person's opinion. Having women friends that you aren't trying to fuck. Having hobbies that are fun, and that you're willing to talk about because they make you excited, without trying to monetize them.

I mean the emancipation proclamation didn't ban slavery, it just banned it in rebelling states by freeing the slaves in those states. It was a year/years later that the 21(?) 13th Amendment was signed that actually banned the practice.

Lincoln didn't want to free the slaves, he just didn't want the south using them as an army.

The civil war was started over the economics of slavery, not the cancellation of slavery. The south wanted slaves to count towards votes, but not count towards taxes owed. The north refused to allow that, and they decided that slaves didn't count towards either. And since without slaves the southern states had much lower populations, that dramatically diminished their voting power. That is why the civil war started.

What's the doct? And yeah, the south feared the dissolution of slavery but from my understanding that was not what it was about for the north. Hence the 3/5ths compromise.

They're referring to the alignment issue, which is an ongoing issue only slightly smaller in scale then warp drive. It's basically impossible to solve. Google "alignment issue machine learning" for more info.

For the record, there have been several advancements in warp drive precursors even just this year.
