I think that is your 15th account now? lol -- I moved 3x in 1 year and thought that was excessive, but you keep on hopping from place to place. I think you should start your own Sharkey or Mastodon server (instance), because whatever you're looking for is not going to be found elsewhere. lol

I heavily suggest that if you've tried @trunksapp in the past and found it not to your liking you go back and give it another shot. It's recently had transformation of sorts with tons of UX and performance polish. @Decad3nce has been hard at work!

I actually got a very old desktop (personal) PC from 2009. However I upgraded over time.

For 20 euros I bought the: Intel Xeon X5680, which has 6 cores, 12 threads. I also upgrade my triple channel DDR3 over time, it's now fully seated and: 12GB.

After 15+ years I'm hopefully doing to upgrade my desktop to a Threadripper workstation for the upcoming 15+ years to come again. So no, I'm not happy with my current system, it's still old SATA 2 and my GPU is bottlenecked by my mobo.

@Rentlar while I think railheads are awesome people I'm not interested in trains, myself. I do like watching railheads light up when they get to see a train on YouTube. It's incredibly wholesome content.

@DumbAceDragon you merely adopted the internet. I was born in it. Molded by it. When I saw broadband I was already a woman.

I was chatting on local BBS with a 9600baud Hayes external that was a huge metal box which would get hot to the touch.
